Once i've figured out my artistic tempo, it's impossible for me to stop drawing and painting unless I'm literally, physically exhausted. I've been itching to do a large detailed piece with a full background and sat around for a while thinking of what to draw (I literally just sit and think, like daydreaming or meditation but my eyes are open and I'm just using my mind's eye).

I finally landed on an idea, going back to my usual themes of urban landscape and graffiti, but with a lot of inspiration from the artist Yun Ling (who is linked on my art page.) They're great at storytelling in their work, like a snapshot of some post-apocalyptic adventure. Even in settings that are supposed to feel barren or abandoned, there's so much life to it. I like the feeling of isolation in his pieces, with only one subject, but it never feels lonely. I kind of wanted to channel all of that, but with two subjects instead of one. I have so many ideas from what I've brain stormed but of course I had to pick one idea. Here is a WIP screenshot. I don't wanna show the full thing yet. Can't wait to add the graffiti.

I've never done graffiti IRL sadly.

A very rough painting of my OC, Isaac, running under an underpass with an ocean themed mural behind.

Bye bye, can't idle for too long.
