— Originally a fan OC for my favourite video game, Dishonored.

Isaac died in the original story.

He was a side character, a stranger turned coworker turned unlikely friend, in Ace's journey to becoming a member of the game's infamous gang named the Whalers. However, one thing lead to another as the characters grew and developed in my mind, and I felt there was something different in Isaac that my other characters didn't have. There was something special in him.

Their roles switched, his and Ace's. Sort of. I found Ace to be far too introverted and sensitive to become an assassin. Isaac fit the role much better, an angsty, juvenile delinquent who couldn't cope well with his abandonment issues despite growing up in a stable home and the best father one could ask for. he took it all for granted, in his subconscious quest to find some meaning in living, to find some solace in his pain. and he paid the price for it, something he'd have to live with for the rest of his life.

In the World of Dishonored

Isaac was born in the northern most isle of Tyvia, in a port city called Tamarak, to a mother named Maria and a father named Felix. He doesn't know his mother well. She left when he was eight, watched her step out the door himself, seated at the top of the staircase that connected the lower shop level to their home at the second level. that wasthe last time he saw her.
